A blog post with all the compiled Penang blog posts... Well you will never be able to find the exact location of where these pages are because they are hidden mwahahah! I'm evil, jokes. Hehe, so yeah, this blog post is basically like the one I visited China, "Triangle China Trip!" blog post. If you want to find out, click any of the big title below and proceed into the blog post! Will update more. :)
So, we departed from Puchong to Pudu Raya at 5pm or something... And it's basically a sardin-packing in the bus. The journey took about 45 minutes to 1 hour long to reach to the destination... I just know one thing for sure is by the time we reached to Pudu Raya, the sky was already dark and the time when we hop into U70...
Good morning Penang, the first sunshine in Penang, from our hostel room... Yeah, first time waking up at 5:00am just to catch a glimpse of sunrise... Yeap, I'm going to watch the dawn! I haven't been interacting with nature for quite a while already... To be honest waking up this early... For the first few moments when...
Been to The One Academy Penang! Thanks Jeng Shan for taking the picture... Oh my god I can't believe I'm here xD I expected the Penang campus will look much better than Bandar Sunway one. They have their campus itself, and everything's there is so new. But I figured this building was once another building...
Good morning, and here we go again! Waking up in the early morning... Shower, brush teeth and then get ready to walk a kilometer or more journey from Muntri to Gurney! This time we're heading to the beach, and is like the tourist side of Penang. It took us like 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach to our destination...
Here comes the second day of the Kim Jung Gi event! And, nothing much to tell about this day because it's all basically the same. Second day with Kim Jung Gi, first session was live demonstration part 2. He will be drawing a complete drawing...
Epilogue, last night in Penang So we're back in our hostel, Ryokan! And we are free to do our stuffs. And we got hungry, because our dinner was way too early... So yeah, headed back to Ryokan and had our second round of dinner! Or supper, maybe...
So here comes to the end of the second semester, to be honest it wasn't so bad like I thought it would be... The things I learn in second semester is much challenging and better and... fun? Compare to the first semester... Oh well, semester by semester, the things are going to get tougher and tougher... Like Princess Aurora said, "I'm not sure if I'm ready for the challenge but I'm so excited about it", that's what I'm feeling now for the least... The third semester, a.k.a the last semester of my first year is coming. And I heard for my major I'm going to have only three subjects to learn in the third semester, cool huh? :D So in this semester, I've been sorted into DG1205-2 class, and thanks to management, CD1205-4 animation students are divided into two classes... But that's alright, because we always have to spare some spaces for new people to come into our life... Argh, should stop talking like someone who talks like a "philosopher" =3=
So in this semester, I've learned on HOW TO PAINTTTTTT! not really, actually the main purpose bout this painting lesson is to learn the colour changes, basically a "Colour Studies" subject... Hmm, I wonder why The One Academy name their subjects like so general...? They could have named Figure Studies 2 as Portrait and Drawing 2 as Colour Studies... Just my suggestion though ;D This subject gave me MAJOR headache. But after so many weeks of painting, I finally realized it's my technique problem, it's my gouaches problem... They got harden and some are missing (because I'm too lazy to fill them up again)... So for my final Drawing 2 class, I decided to spend MOAR on my painting, spent RM9 for two pentels... =3= But oh well, the final thing I painted is quite satisfying compare to the ones I did earlier... Not counting the earlier practices I mentioned in "Semester 2, so far...". Hopefully I get a better grade than I expected it would be... Not trying to have HIGH expectation here but... Y'know. Sometimes it's not easy at all to have good determination. PERASANNNN.
Visual Communication is one of my least favourite classes but then, think about it... The lecturer, Mr. Lew shared many of his experiences and his thoughts bout his life and design and stuffs... At first I don't really like the way he teach because it's all about stories, I mean sharing stories is good but over sharing... Hmm, but I've came to learn quite a lot from him... Mainly having passion in things you want to do. I still remember my Drawing 1 lecturer said you will never improve on something you don't love, or like for the least... I guess they're both sharing the same thing. Oh well, thank you Mr. Lew for teaching me all these things... Noted them. :) But gotta apologize to you Mr. Lew and Frankie because I'm not interested in participating for the Journey of Sight 2 gallery/showcase thing... I needa focus more on my drawing skills and stuffs. And am never going to stop drawing for the rest of my life ROARRRRR! yeahhhhhhh~ :D Oh well, farewell Visual Communication!
Figure studies! My all time favourite subject, and I posted quite a lot of statuses about portraits and stuffs... People who added in Facebook should know this better than anyone xD Yeah I spammmmmm so much about portraits so you should be able to see my passion in Figure Studies 2! =P Actually before entering to The One Academy, I've always impressed by people who can draw realistic faces so easily... I thought I would never be able to draw something like that but Tatsun said nothing is impossible...! Whoa, so many things I benefited throughout the journey here! =P Okay enough of crapping... I have a habit for drawing portraits like almost everyday, but now I stop drawing it for maybe a week or so, decided to take a break... Oh well I'm still gonna keep drawing and drawing to sharpen my skills. I want to impress people who used to laugh at my drawing! >=D And of course I would like to keep this competitive spirit with me for the rest of the journey.
Lemme introduce this sifu... He is one of the lecturers I admire like so badly! His skills is so awesome, awesome till I speechless. His name is Zelin, or ZL for short (some kind of acronym maybe?), yeah... He is my Figure Studies lecturer. 我好想拜他为师! Saw his demonstration of portraits and none of them are bad or even average, it's either awesome, or beyond the awesome... =w= I am sooooooo jelly of his skills! Oh well maybe because he kept practicing and he has been drawing for so long, need to learn something like this from him. Umm, I gotta confess I snored quite a lot of times in his class, but it's all good because I still learned something here. I heard he teaches DG classes because he knows muscles and skeletons better, and am so lucky to have him as our lecturer. And guess what, he said DG1205-2 is the best among the others HOHOHOHOHO oh well my portraits are STILL not so good anyway. Anyway let's just move on...
And in this semester I've met some new good friends! I've got closer with Sylvia, Sandy, Tzey Yang and Ian in semester two. And all of them are from IL major. Cool huh... I'm always stuck with Forever Alone status. Oh man, look at this photo! I'm starting to miss my blonde hair... Sandy looks like a chipmunk, the girl in pink shirt! =P The girl on the right side in this photo is Sylvia, and the guy there is Tzey Yang, mah bro. All of them were bullying me! Oh nos, I am so cham. I went having meals with them for some times already. There are also a lot to mention in this blog post but I got really lazy so I'll just talk about the MAJOR EVENTS okay? =P In BM class we need to do a drama where we all speak in BM and hmm... I don't have much photo for this content so I'll just post the video here. Adele will probably blame me for exposing this to the world, or at least in mah blog...
We all went to Sunway Lagoon! All of us, were having fun of course. And here are some highlighted photos of that event. Nothing much to talk about here, just plain awesome memories for this activities. I feel like this semester has much more things to recall than the first one. Don't get me wrong, I still think CD1205-4 is awesome! Anyway, I'm gonna rest so... Gotta conclude everything here. Hope you love the photos! They look great to me ;)
I have like... Very limited sources (mainly photo) for this blog post so bear with me for a blog post without any pictures. So yesterday, after having LCS2 class I was about to go home and suddenly Claire asked me if I'm going to join them for a night out... At first I refused to go, but after I heard like so many people were confirmed for going, I got so tempted and decided to join them. Supposedly I wanted to do assignment, but oh well... So after the class we charged our phones in the class and headed off to put our stuffs in the locker. I wouldn't want to have any extra weights on my body, all I brought along with me were... Shades, phone and wallet. That's all.
Me and Wei Han went to Claire's house with Sandy along in the taxi. Sylvia, Ian, Kah Yee and a foreign student (sorry I forgot your name...) will join us. The purpose for Sylvia, Ian and Sandy to be here is to swim at Claire's apartment. I wasn't supposed to join but Ian they all begged me to swim with them since Ian was the only guy and he doesn't know how to swim so I just joined... last minute. Blah blah blah, to make the long story short, we had some FUN in the pool and then we prepared ourselves for the night out. Woot, I started to get hungry after swimming. Waited the girls to put on their make up for 2 hours, us guys got fed up of waiting and we decided to take taxi to stop by at TOA to get our hair done (FYI my stuffs were at my locker so we had to do our hair in Main Block toilet). Kah Yee accompanied us along to the TOA because she's already done with her make up.
Oh hey it's me and Kah Yee! I tried my shades on and took a selca with her. Was waiting everyone to get their hair done and we went out to Pyramid. By the time we were at Pyramid it was already 9:30pm something. Every shop was going to close down and everyone was going home by that time. Feels weird that it's time for the people to return home but it just feel so early when I was wandering around in the Pyramid...
And so! I finally had my first ever Carl's Junior! And on my first bite... Oh my god, best burger ever! Great now I feel hungry... Dear lord that was the best burger ever I've had. Even the fries itself beat McDonald's! Now that I had Carl's, I don't feel like going back to McDonald again because their fries rocks a ton! ;D
So we joined Sandy and the girls at Wong Kok Restaurant and I figured we can head off to Aquasonic after having their dinner together. We ate our burgers in that restaurant like there were no fucks given to the "No Outside Food Allowed" loooool I suggested this to Ian, this was actually a reference from 9GAG.com, exchanging our foods that we can't have our own foods... Lame, I know. /.\
SO YEAHHHH, we had our dinner, and we had our stuffs readied. We were ready to proceed into le aquasonic! Sylvia was going home with Mernan, Ian wasn't supposed to come with us because he doesn't want to go clubbing at the first place... He has his personal reasons though, maybe. But eventually he came with us, I said to him that if he doesn't feel like staying in there long I can get out from the club with him. Okay so we entered into the club, it was... Well, the way I expected. But I figured it would be cool! The music wasn't so sounding by the time I reached there because it was only about 10am or something. I see less people around, they were preparing these and that, maybe... People got us a table to hang out and all we had were water... Ice water. At first the situation was kinda boring because not hyped up and no one is walking around... Basically these partying places before 1am can be considered as pubs. Wei Han told me the music will get louder and louder the more later it goes, so I waited for an hour and... The place was beginning to hype up~
Yeah babe, this place is eventually hypen up like mad, the music volume is sick! Oh my gawdddddddddd lalalalala because they played most of my favourite songs, I couldn't help but started to move my body and danced along to the song. And good things bout clubbing is, no one judges you. You can literally do whatever you want, have a good time and just be yourself. And by the time I am already addicted to dancing, I've gone to the other level of "dancing". It's not dancing any more, I started to fling and flung my body like was VERY crazy! The more the volume goes the crazier I got. This raises a suspicion: was I drunk? No. I never take any alcohol. All I did was had a GULP of beer and I was very clear what I was doing and I just wanted to hype up, not drunk. I was still mentally stable, but then my friends were looking at me like they saw the other person not Wallace... It's okay, I don't blame you guys, because I was surprised by myself also that I can go crazy. I am especially high when they played K-POP songs. I remembered those songs very clearly, the songs that I got hyped the most were I AM THE BEST by 2NE1, Fantastic Baby by Big Bang, Gangnam Style by PSY, Like A G6 by Far East Movement and Tonight by Big Bang. I gotta say YG artists are the only K-POP artists who made it into a more well-accepted partying songs in around. Blah blah blah, oh reminiscing those moments... I want to go partying again! It's coming to the end of the semester already, aww I'm gonna miss this semester, not as much as I do for semester 1 but still~ OKAY I AM TIRED NOW!
Okay, lemme just end this night out blog post here, au revoir~
Back to blogging! Alright, time to blog! So yeah, I had an outing with my another gang of friends last night. It was, hmm, by far, one of the best nights I had here in this 2012. And who were they? My dear primary school classmates from Standard 6! Somehow I feel guilty because I've been hanging out with my Han Ming friends and never actually got a proper interaction with Khe Beng priamry school friends... I mean, 5 years with them and after that I moved to Han Ming... I still hope to see them one day... But anyway, we're talking about Han Ming friends... Hello!
Yeap, these are the people who were all from 6O class. Actually just maybe 1/10 of it, because the others are like, super busy? And they all had their own life to live on... Ah, whatever. I'm just glad that the active ones: Linly, Kelly and Jeremy are here now for this gathering outing. And now we have Carmen, Jason, Enmi and Pin Fu joined us. I believe after this onwards we will be having a closer relation with each other. We had so much plans, after this. It's like, we have so much to do together? Hmm, fate will tell.
To be honest this outing was kinda sudden and rushed... It all started from the day Linly planned a new reunion for us all in our 6O class group, for choosing who should organize all these stuffs... And guess what, I got nominated! =D But of course, I don't want to organize anything because anything I lead will become much worse than you expected. So yeah Linly got most of the votes and I am so glad, that she became the organizer again! YAY! She's been organizing our outing and she's the reason of why we're so united! ;) But she had a lot of plans for us, like going to Malacca for 1-DAY-TRIP and summore going to clubbing at aquasonic... I'd really love to join them for the Malacca trip, but you know... I've been complaining about the amount of my assignments, so I thought I will be absent for this round. And the other option, clubbing... Nah, not my thing. I don't go clubbing, sorry to say... I don't drink and smoke, and the crowd inside is too complicated for me. I'm a loser when I'm inside the club, so yeah... 'Nuff said!
The plan wasn't getting any good responds, so the last minute idea she had is to call any of us to go out and yumcha at Pelita, a mamak stall. So yeah I thought it won't be much of a problem since I only have portrait to draw and a paragraph to do for LCS2. So here I come! To meet with my old friends again! At 9:50pm Linly picked me up, inside the car there were Pin Fu, Enmi and Carmen... So the whole time, when I got into the car, I was speaking English entirely, literally the whole time in car with Linly... I almost forgot that this was a Chinese primary school gathering! I felt kinda bad so I tried talking to the others because the other three were so silent... So yeah, I interacted with them somehow, it was awkward... After all we didn't really talk to each other like almost 6 years already, so best to do some pre-bonding before proceeding into the proper gathering ;D And yeah, I met everyone else... And, it was so nostalgic! After chitty-chatty session we had there in the mamak stall, we moved on to SetiaWalk to continue our outing and stuffs. We need to create some memories for every gathering, RIGHT? ;) I got lazy now to type all these, I'll just post the photos here (credits to Linly for the camera ;D) OH THE MOMENTS...
HEHEHEHE, I also remember I screamed like damn hell loud just to embarrass my friends. Oh my dear throat ;D I believe I gathered some unexpected attentions from all other people in the pub. I must say it was VERY FUN to do something like these, I should be more and more and more crazy to entertain my friends next time... Or not, it's up to them if they want me to be crazy ;) Anyway, I'm done for blogging, I hope y'all had fun looking at the pictures... This post is specially dedicated to 6O friends! :) Until next time, see you peepz!
Okay when was the last time going to Kuala Lumpur...? Oh yeah, beginning of this year. Back when I was still having black hair, and now I'm blonde. So oneFM and 8TV organized this flash-mob thing dedicated for K-POP. And the hosts were... oneFM Kyan and 8TV's 八八六十四 Wind Lee (@WindLee8). If I'm not mistaken, this event is a follow-up for Lovey Dovey flashmob, which I didn't participate (and I was so emo). For your information, K-POP is now officially a virus to all radio stations. They got infected, le K-POP effect! Everyone loves K-POP now. And it's really safe to say that there are many K-POP fans in Malaysia. TRUST ME. I've met some of them and they're more crazy than I am. But truth to be told, K-POP world in Malaysia is kinda know. It's like everyone knows each other, and there's somehow mutual friends in between strangers who are K-POP fans. And by the way, side topic... Most of the people here know Girls' Generation and are fans of them. Too bad, they're just fans but not S♥NE. Only Malaysian S♥NE will understand what I'm talking about here.
imma stop crapping... ANYWAYS...!
Back to where I stopped. So it was another K-POP day, and I wouldn't want to miss anything about K-POP happening in Malaysia (well maybe for the fandoms' activities or idols coming that I'm not a fan of) if possible. Though I still have remaining assignments, I figured out on doing them after the event. Chill, the event won't last more than 2 hours trust me. So I adjusted the alarm to 10:30am just in case for my phone to charge its own battery before leaving.
But as I expected, I will delay an hour to get up from bed, ended up waking up at 11:30am. Thanks to the snooze function. I thought I was gonna late, because taking from Puchong to KL Central isn't a simple task. I rush and rush and rush... I don't have a stylist, and it's a pain for a guy to think what hairstyle to style before going out. Not like the girls maybe, wearing default make-up and get out from da house. Except they take more time than us maybe. Ah screw it, guys = hair, girls = make-up. We take our time equally, that says it all.
So I was about to set off to KL Central, my dad was willing to fetch me to IOI Mall. Transports are better in IOI Mall anyway. But thank goodness my sister was back in time, and she said she could fetch me instead to KL Central. That's not all, my sister's boyfriend was with her and they changed their mind from watching movie in MidValley to Timesquare, for maybe Umobile services. Yay!No public transports! It feels so good, to be in the city again! I love breathing city air! ...Wait, it's heavily polluted right? Okay then, I love the city feel! I know this city sucks compare to the other country's capitals but still Kuala Lumpur meets the qualification for a busy city. Not as busy as Bangkok though. So it was bout 30 minutes journey time, saved so much time! Imagine travelling by public transports... I would have already miss the best parts! And I was there, meet up with Melanie. The event just started right away, thank god I wasn't late! The first performance was done by Progression, performed "Warrior" by B.A.P. And my phone got this 'lucky shot', hot dancer stripping off? LOL. I remember I was once performing NU ABO and Pinocchio for Co-curricular Day in my school... Oh...
So then the flash-mob officially begun, and time to spam photos!
SO SORRY if the watermarks annoyed you. OH YEAH. They danced to Superman, Mr. Simple, Lovey Dovey, Be My Baby and Fantastic Baby. As expected, the overrated song Fantastic Baby is definitely in the list. 'Cuz you know why, I know why. 'Nuff said. Other than Lovey Dovey, the other songs are just so-so maybe because everyone is singing it (except Be My Baby) and got pretty common already. I was expecting something more uncommon like... MAMA, History, Face, Twinkle, I Am The Best, Cry Cry, The Boys, Electric Shock songs like that. Or maybe some unexpected songs like Boyfriend, Baby I'm Sorry (OH IMAGINE EVERYONE DANCING THIS) songs like that. Or maybe they should have dance to "Dream High" or "Like This", best songs ever for flash-mob! Okay I talked too much.
After the dancing part, they're giving away free tickets to attend B.A.P's showcase! I wanted it, because I've never seen an artist with my own naked eyes before. But I know I don't stand a chance because I don't know much about them. Been standing there, raising up my hand but not wanting to sing or dance for their song. I might look bad! Instead of being greedy and trying so hard to get the tickets that I don't really want to go, I shall give chances to the 'Babies'. HOPEFULLY I got the same chances back when they're giving out maybe T-ara showcase or maybe future f(x)'s showcase or something. :) I'm a nice guy, you know! I'm just a little grumpy sometimes. By the way I love this picture I took with Instagram! The hosts are so photogenic! Both of them looked great, so far the best shot I've got here by chance. I should major for photographies too maybe xD I love snapping pictures, no lie. I enjoy capturing moments. If there's ever going to have a part-time job for photographer, imma take that job for sure! Interest and money, best combination... EVER!
Okay one more go:
PHEW. and they did the encore performance, no pictures already! After the fest I went walking around to window shopping for K-POP items. I know one shop is specialized on selling K-POP stuffs but... Nah, never mind. I can buy stuffs from online. YesAsia and other shops, they offer better price anyway. Free shipping, just that we can't get those items on hand fast. Oh well...
Ventured into the Kuala Lumpur, technically, for a day all by myself. Maybe not, I was with Melanie. But not so much, and I'm so tired! Dx I wanted to stay longer but it would be waste of time because all I can do is just walking around and enjoy the sight-seeing. I don't even want to get lost. But I've already got myself familiarized with all the Kuala Lumpur roads already, it wouldn't be a problem for me to walk alone but the MAIN POINT is it would be too boring. Shopping alone is not fun, unless you like being lonely? ...Guess not. Everyone needs friends! But IF the city is empty, no humans walking on the street. I will definitely enjoy those kind of self city touring... But it's impossible, only possible in the morning going to a mall where nobody is still walking around. Oh well, in Kuala Lumpur you can see a lot of foreigners. It's no wonder because it's the capital after all. Unlike China or United States, our only big city is Kuala Lumpur. I don't ever recall Shanghai and New York are both capitals... AH! Enough talking, I must resume my assignments! I still haven't redo my colour wheel thing! Argh, they come with marks. Imma do now. Ciao people! Happy July!
P.S. imma join the dance next time!
Someone from the television, he tweeted back me! :D
