Dawning, Kek Lok Si

Good morning Penang, the first sunshine in Penang, from our hostel room... Yeah, first time waking up at 5:00am just to catch a glimpse of sunrise... Yeap, I'm going to watch the dawn! I haven't been interacting with nature for quite a while already... To be honest waking up this early... For the first few moments when I wake up from my bed my thought was like "I should just give up on watching the sunrise" things like that. At first I don't want to follow, I thought it'd be a better idea to stay room and online all day but think about it I can't be doing that for the entire 24 hours right... Hmm, so yeah, RISE AND SHINE.

We had to walk all the way to the seaside... And... The street was kinda quiet, no one was there. Except dogs walking here and there... Oh yeah, the people woke up early to pray, Buddhism people. The buildings there were quite old fashion looking... Walk by walk and I've got an idea for one story, but too bad I'm the kind of guy who never finishes something... Been wanting to write a story, or draw a story out but fail... Oh anyway anyway, until we reached to our destination, I could smell the saltiness... Y'know, the shore breezes! (I seem to love using 'breeze' this word...) I can hear the wave and stuffs like that... What makes a sea or ocean scary at night time is once you fall into the sea it's all dark inside and you won't know what's swimming in around you... *Shivers*

Everyone was sitting on the woods, waiting for the sun to rise... I wasn't there at first, I was sitting on the bench and was emo-ing there... Deep thoughts and stuffs, thinking that what if the world ends or something... I thought waiting for the sun to rise must be boring but it wasn't so bad especially when you sit down and spend all the time to think of all necessaries and "unnecessaries"... Sometimes being emo is comfortable... Only when the environment is suitable and allows you to do so... The sky is getting bluer and bluer, from cobalt blue to sky blue... "It's getting warmer, you should get back to winter", to all the night living beings xD Actually the dawn is really beautiful, it's like, "what a beautiful sight"... It actually touched my heart xD No lie. The sea water has become more and more clearer and... You can actually see the colour changes in the surrounding... Oh, err, drawing 2 much? Hehe, I like listening to the sound of wave... And I would have listen to Destiny Island soundtrack if that track exist in my iPad =___= Okay okay... So by this time of sun rise... The fisherman and photographers started their work... Hmm, what a peaceful view...

So this is the wonderful life of the villagers. I won't deny, if the city life is too messy for me, I would be staying here and live a sleepy, comfortable and slowly life rather than keeping up on everything. Oh look! It's the sunny shine smile of mine holding Cece's diary! xD Jeng Shan, thanks for capturing all the moments... =___= Without your camera this blog post wouldn't fill with all photos xD So yeah, it's me, in the morning. Luckily I wasn't having some moody morning mood on that day... I more or less was awaken by the beautiful sight of the sunrise. Once the day got lighten up, everything's got happier! :) And our moods got better because... I don't know.

Alright! DONE WITH THE SUNRISE.
Next station, Kek Lok Si!

So our next destination was Kek Lok Si, a temple located high up on the hill. We had to take bus from KOMTAR to Air Itam, quite far from Muntri for your tiny information... So we spent a couple of ten minutes in the bus, and Kek Lok Si is the last stop... Hop down, and, here we are! The holy place, temple! Wei Jia is one guy who's kinda excited in among us... He got the "feel" when entring to a temple, holy feel maybe... It's actually a temple where you pray (duh) and impress the tourists with the arts of Buddhism.

The reflection of the Kek Lok Si tower! We climbed all the way to the top of the temple and it was all worth it because there are a lot of things for you to see... Not really. There are turtles in the turtle pond (not pound) and you can buy the veggies for like few bucks and feed them. They have a sign stated "No outside food feeding", probably to protect the turtles. I'm not sure about the legend of turtle base on Buddhism stories, if you know, please tell me! Tweet me or comment here below. Would love to know! :) The turtle pavilion is located in the middle of the hill, so you can take a rest or something at the spot. Alright, rest done, let's continue climbing! :D So yeah we reached to the top of the temple, we need to pay another four for the lift riding... Ah I got nothing much to talk about and there are so many spaces for me to fill them up grr... I guess I will just crap here. xD There is a huge Guan Yin statue located at the peak of the hill and a good place for tourists to take picture. The statue is real tall, no lie. And and and and and and it's impossible to go up to there because it is too tall and very very tall... Jeng Shan took some photos of me, smiling with teeth. I call it eyesmile, too bad you can't see my eyes because my eyes were covered by my awesome pixel sunglasses...!

Hehe, okay we've done our business in Kek Lok Si. Went down and had our lunch there. The famous asam laksa is located at the street there and I thought I will be having stomachache after eating them but it was alright. Not spicy just sour. Penang foods are indeed good good good goodie good. We also had cendol for our next stop, because the weather was tooooo hot and I couldn't bear the hotiness... Maybe my fats too much... Oh what a tragedy... T___T Somebody needs to teach me on slimming down and then build packs on my body...! Look at my noob face here, and fragile cappy Wei Jia. We look total losers here... YEAHHHH LOSERS MWAHAHAHA. Ignore me. Okayyyy I guess that's all for Kek Lok Si chapter. We actually planned to climb the Penang Hill but the sky was starting to "fall" so we just head home and...

to our next stop,
THE ONE ACADEMY PENANG
