Great Lake, Wuxi

After bidding farewell with Shanghai, our travel schedule has moved on to the next city, Wuxi (无锡). I heard Wuxi is about 0°C or lower, hopefully Wuxi is going to snow! But no, unfortunately. Oh well... The journey to Wuxi is about 2 hours so it's time to nap in the bus again...

Wuxi, Wuxi, Wuxi... What a great place, with all the great views coming back again. The new local guide is kinda young, thought he's good but... I'll leave it and tell you guys later. The first destination was visiting to the 'Three Kingdoms City', I translated it directly, I don't know the real English name for this place. It's like a Hollywood, but mostly used for filming the Ming Dynasty's famous story, 'Three Kingdoms', that's why the place is called 'Three Kingdoms City', I guess?

The buildings and everything are all so real, so real that I can actually feel the old-old times. And there were a lot of bamboo trees, panda's favourite. Since I was a 'panda', I thought it suites me right to stay in around those bamboo trees. Here's a picture, though it's not very clear...

Thanks to the local guide, the whole group was able to go into some ship and you can look around the 'Great Lake' (太湖), where it's known for one of the Wuxi's special-symbols thingy. I thought I froze when I went to the top of this ship, the breezes were blowing toward to my face and I felt like I'm all stunned but it's okay. I've done Shanghai Romance and Pinocchio dance cover when nobody was there, I had fun dancing in the cold place woot! The Great Lake is really really really big, it's about 5 or 6 times larger than Singapore, everywhere in the middle of lake is like the sea, you can't see any roads. BUT although the lake is like huge than hugest, it's not deep at all. It's only about 2.2 meter deep for the whole lake. So you don't have to be so worried about falling into the lake... Unless they have piranha or crocodile in the lake...! Or very unfortunate, you fell into the lake during winter and you can barely survive by the freezing temperature.

The next day, we didn't have much chance to tour around nicely and the stupid local guide brought us to the pearl factory. I don't understand why do we have to go to some places... Oh well, with all the discounts, I understand. Anyhow, the pearls weren't so impressive and I'm not interested in wearing them. They're too girlish to be on guy's neck or body. And the pearls are very expensive, not much people even bothered to buy it. Oh well, the local guide got really mad and scolded us for not buying his product, I mean like seriously? I don't care who you are but you have no right to scold us customers! =.= The whole car hated on him and he left earlier than the other local guides did, yeah fuck off! ^^

We also went to this great temple but well, it's a little too great for me to look around. There are too many great views there, the crimson trees and everything... But it's not really a real 'temple', just some kind of touring place but still, they used more than millions to build this temple so imma say 'daebak' to them. They even have this golden statue of the Buddha. I was climbing all the way up to the stairs, in order to catch some real good views but I didn't snap any pictures... FML! But still, who's gonna see those pictures right? Whenever you're going to some temple, you have to be quiet inside, I think it's to rest the dead spirits or your own spirits, spiritual logic. Forgive me if I said anything wrong, I'm still learning things... Anyway, if you are a nature lover or been through some serious stress, don't be hesitate to visit China for a round, I'm sure you'll like the views there. Everything's perfect there, the views: the trees and the skies, the water and the land. There's a story behind 'Wuxi' this name, you know... Actually not really story, just some interpretations. In Chinese, the sources that the industry always used to make 'tins' are called 'xi mi'. And there's no 'xi mi' in that place, so they named this place ‘无锡', means 'No Xi Mi', uh, nice eh? The trip in Wuxi is kinda simple, I might just close this blog post like this. Oh wait, show you something:

Yeah I can't even take my eyes off from f(x) even in the China! I non-stop listening to K-Pop even in China every trip. I'm a patient with K-Pop fever, the only way to control this sickness is to keep on consuming the songs or I'll be very very very badly ill...! (Guess what I was watching?) Aha, by the way, the picture was taken in a mall. The mall was really boring, without anything interesting. Mostly all about clothes, I never seen one CD shop, nothing was found there. But there was a epicenter... Okay there wasn't any epicenter, just a typical Apple shop sells Apple things: iPad, iPhone, iPod, iMac and everything. I didn't see any Dr. Dre's beats headphone, oh well. The services there was really bad, there wasn't any internet connection for certain Apple devices... Oh yes, there was one, the iPad2 one. But I can't browse on the nets that I wanted to, namely Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Those sites are blocked by the Chinese government for some reasons. In China, you can't go on sites you liked, but they have their own sites like Youku, Tudou, QQ, RRW etc. Trust me, we won't get used to it, it's kinda complicated for us to use though they share certain similarities with the nets we've been on usually.

Alright, time's up for Wuxi! We're going to the last city now!
I didn't have any pictures with the Wuxi's local guide so this is some good replacement, the Shifu (a.k.a the driver), thanks for your service! 真的非常感谢你那么勤恳的服务!继续加油吧~
