Shanghai, A Little Taste Of Western!

终于能够出发到上海之地了啦! 感到非常兴奋,我其中理想性的城市!

Like finally, here I am! Shanghai! You'll never know the desire of the eager me, wanting to go to a busy city from all over the world! Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, London, New York and Paris! The perfect line up of the top cities that I wanted to go like so badly! I love Shanghai since young... I'm a city-boy, and I always have the flaming passion for busy city. Even Kuala Lumpur isn't good enough, it still triggered my desire to go walking around there as often as I could! Now, finally! This city is more than I expect, I mean seriously. It's like another New York, except this place is filled with Chinese. But before going to the real Shanghai, Mr. Gao brought us to the Zhujiajiao (朱家角)where this is the only town apart from Shanghai that still has the ancient thing and everything. I still remember Fated To Love You used this location as their set that's why I feel so special there.

So before entering into the official Zhujiajiao, Mr. Gao brought us to the ancient trees, which it's about more than 100 years old. I guess the tree, is also one of the most valuable thing in China? Okay so this Zhujiajiao thing, this town is actually part of the Shanghai, located at the Qingpu District, but for some reasons on the list of my travel menu it's separated from Shanghai so is it safe to say Zhujiajiao is a standalone town or what? But anyway, the reason why do they have this Zhujiajiao is because I think they want to keep the old fashion style of the way Shanghai was and how Shanghai looked like back in days then. I enjoy snapping pictures at random places, even pictures of myself randomly. You can see how random I was at this picture and how random the picture's background. I look a little chubby there, maybe because I needed double chin to support the cold atmosphere around... Anyhow, I learned a lot during the trip for the whole Triangle-set. I'm ready to impress my Chinese friends with all the things I've learned there! Haha, just kidding, there are so much to learn so... Forget about it. I had so much fun sliding on the bicycle road side and everyone was looking at me doing crazy stuffs...! Blame that I'm Chinese, everyone came asking me "请问那里可以通到出口吗?" I was so ashamed to disappoint people. To be honest I do not dare to speak in China. Once I speak, they will find out immediately that I'm not China Chinese but Chinese from somewhere else.

Okay it's time to go to the real Shanghai! The sky was really dark and it was only 5pm or something like that. I think that's why people from winter place always eat earlier than Malaysians usually eat. Oh well, let's skip of what happened during the dinner and straight go visit Nanjing Road!

I, love this street... LIKE VERY MUCH! With all the busy people walking around here and there, the indescribable excitement pumping in my heart up and down, oh wow! All the shops and everything, I don't know how to tell the feelings but it's just worth lots! Okay so basically this place is kinda identical with Kuala Lumpur except this place is much busier and advance. There were McDonald, KFC, Pizza Hut... Okay fine, those are common fast food restaurants everywhere. I never get a chance to buy anything in Shanghai, they cost higher price than the usual, you know. It's like things in Kuala Lumpur and Puchong, are you followin'? Anyway... Moving on the the next thing to mention...

Okay so other than those fascinating shops, there are too other activities going on in this street. As you know I'm a guy who enjoys music and dancing, even retro thingy. And I think if I were about to choose where to stay in China, I would definitely pick Shanghai. Why? Because it's like all in one! The people are walking everywhere, there's even people playing music at the street side where lots of people will be listening to them. And tell you what, there's even dancing on the street! Waltz, hiphop and everything...! Too bad there's no K-Pop, if there's K-Pop flashmob I will be the first one to join! But of course maybe people in China won't be too interested about K-Pop like Thailand and Malaysia do, or not, I don't know. I just know Girls' Generation held a concert in Shanghai before.

Woosh! The weather was indeed, cold! My jaws keep shivering and trembling and my hands were all frozen. I had to use iPad for certain things. Oh and for your information, it's safe to take out your iPad or Blackberry Book or anything like that out, no robbers will snatch, not as much as in Kuala Lumpur. Other than Chinese, I saw 20% amount of people were non-Asian. Probably from Paris, America or somewhere in Europe. I understand why though, Shanghai is one of the most important city in the world, you know why or you can figure it out yourself. FYI again, this place was once the property of British people that's why everything looks so westernized and not like those Chinese housing. The next stop we're going to go is the place where French people once occupied that place and now it has became today's Night-life place!

This place shares its own similarity with our Malaysia's own night-life town, Bangsar. Where there are clubs, pubs and everything related to alcohol. And it is said that this place is mostly all the westerner people wandering here and there, probably their entertainment is going to these cool places! People in Shanghai are very high-class, or classy. They wear top quality things and use top quality devices such as everyone bears an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S2. So far, I've never seen a Nokia 3301 or even Xperia x8... Looks like my phone is consider very outdated in Shanghai! Anyway well-known shops like Sephora are all available in Shanghai. So girls, you don't have to worry about getting good quality make up (as if you're sensitive to cheap products...)

Alright, that's all for the first day trip in Shanghai, the Puxi section. Now imma update about Pudong section, my favourite part of Shanghai! ;)

  SHANGHAI.
like FUCKING LOVE IT.
